Before starting the peer review process, add your assessment tool(s) to your lesson plan and save it.

ASSURE Model Rubric

  1. You will apply this last section of the rubric to the final section of your lesson plan:
Assessment Not completed or very little evidence. Criteria for success are barely described. Criteria for success are at least partially described. Criteria for success are clearly stated in the form of a rubric. Criteria include qualitative as well as quantitative descriptors. The evaluation instrument clearly measures what students must know and be able to do to accomplish the task.
  1. Your tutor will place you in peer review pairs. You will swap lesson plans with each other using the Document section in the ASSURE discussion group. Please be sure to INCLUDE YOUR NAME in the filename before uploading it.
  2. Message your partner once you have uploaded your lesson plan.
  3. Download your partner’s lesson plan and make comments in the document.
  4. Use the rubrics from the various lessons to assess the lesson plan and give feedback in the following format:
    1. Point out what you like about the lesson plan;
    2. Say what you think could be improved;
    3. Suggest a way that it could be improved.
  5. Upload the assessed lesson plan to the Document section and notify your partner.
  6. Consider the comments your partner has made and make final updates.

When you are ready to continue to the final assignment, click on the Mark Complete button below (first time) and Next Topic on subsequent visits to this page.
