Activity Progress:

In this lesson activity you will use the evaluation tool you created in the previous lesson activity  as you search the Internet for sites containing resources to teach your subject. Remember to try and maintain your selected focus because this will assist you with both your assignments.

  1. You must find at least SIX resources. The resources you find and select should include at least three of the following resource categories:
  • sites that host content information to support teacher understanding or pedagogy;
  • sites that are predominantly information-based for learners;
  • sites with good technology-enhanced lesson plans;
  • sites with interactive educational activities for learners.
  1. Use the evaluation tool to critically evaluate the resources to decide if they are valuable for classroom use.
  2. Add the resources to your social bookmarking or content curation site.
  3. Share really good general resources with your group by posting a comment to the group forum for this lesson called “Web Resource Evaluation”.
